Green cave - is the biggest sea cave of the Vis archipelago. It's characteristic because of the sun light beam coming through a hole on the cave's top, spreading sparkling green light on the cave's sea, bottom and walls.
DESCRIPTION
Our meeting point is on the pre-arranged place. After one and a half hour navigating we arrive at Bisevo Island, highlighted by the Blue cave. We visit natural phenomenon around 11 am which is the ideal moment. In this time of the day the sunlight reflects through the water coming from the white floor of the cave and bathes the grotto in aquamarine light, while objects in the water appear to be silver. After seeing the cave we navigate to the western side of Bisevo Island to the most beautiful beach on that island, in the bay Porat. The beach is sandy and above it are pine trees which provide shade. After swimming in the crystal clear see, we proceed to Komiza, a small fisherman village on the Vis island. There will be a plenty of time for sightseeing and time to have lunch. In the late afternoon we will set sail around the southern side of the island and stop briefly into a unique bay of Stiniva. Afterwards we will reach the Green Cave, characterized by the fissure on the top through which a light passes and leaves marks in the sea. The cave is spacious, and the depth varries from 3 to 5 meters so the boat can get in and we can swimm inside. After this unique experience, unfortunately it is time to return to our main port.
Itinerary
09:00 start form Trogir promenade (in front of Portal Trave agency)
11:00 arrival on Bisevo and Blue cave
12:00 swimming on Porat beach (one of mose beautilul bays in Croatia with sendy beach)
13:30 arrival in village Komiza on island Vis (free time for lunch and visiting nautical museum)
15:30 starting from Komiza to south side of island, visting famous Stoncica bay and swimming in Green cave
18:00 departing form Island Vis to Trogir
19:30 Arrival beck to Trogir
Additional informatian
For all-day stay at sea on speed boat we would certainly recommend you to take sunscreen, sunglasses, towels and beach equipment. Also recommend additional dry goods for a change, and a warm sweater.
