DESCRIPTION
All passengers are picked up at arranged meeting points. Our transport will pick you up on Trogir Riviera, at the nearest place to your accommodation. From there we will start a most memorable trip to Krka National Park and Sibenik.
At first we will stop on the hill above Trogir, on the border between the Dalmatian coast and the hinterland. You will be amazed by the view of Trogir, Split and the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar, and if the sky is clear you will see all the way to the island of Vis. After a short historical overview of Trogir and Split we will proceed to Dalmatinska Zagora, which is a completely different world from behind the hill. Rich greenery, small stone cottages, and Dalmatian village houses contrast with the bare rocky coast, clear blue sea and modern tourist resorts.
And this is how we arrive at the main entrance to Krka National Park - Lozovac. The main attraction of the park is the Skradinski buk, where you will have a chance to enjoy its magic and mystique. Then the tour guide will take you for a walk by the river and he will explain to you the richness of nature in the park. During the walk you will have the opportunity to visit the small stone houses and watermills which are now transformed into many small museums with different exhibits. Also on display is a propellor from the first Teslas hydropower plant on Krka; only the second such plant in the world! Visiting this Oasis of untouched nature, its surroundings, and the old stone mills, we can see why we try to preserve these beautiful places in our small country. The second location, Roski Slap, is still unspoilt and a perfect place to spend your leisure time. Here you will have the opportunity to take a walk among untouched nature, or even a refreshing swim! Afterwards the guide will take you to the Dalmatinska konoba, where you can try some typical Dalmatian products such as ham with homemade cheese and bread, and of course Dalmatian wine!
The next stop is the historical palace of King Kresmir IV, known as Sibenik. On the way you will be shown the breathtaking view often seen on Croatian tourist brochures - the panorama of Visovac island. Then we continue to Sibenik, to see the sights of the town - especially the cathedral of St Jacob, a Unesco heritage site. We return to Trogir along the beautiful coast road, passing picturesque villages and islands, such as Primosten and Marina.
