DESCRIPTION
Our organised transport will pick up all participants of this full day trip at arranged meeting points in Trogir riviera.
Then we start off to an unforgettable journey to one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic-the seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik. Driving towards our destination we stop by a couple of amazing panoramic views of the Adriatic coast; beautiful Adriatic islands, mountains storming into the clear blue sea. We arrive to the pearl town of the Adria in the early afternoon. Each corner of the city which joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites is an unique experience that makes all occasions special. We start our history adventure in the heart of the city through Pile Gate, located at the top of Stradun, the famous main street in the old town of Dubrovnik. From here we will begin our tour on foot. We will visit the monastery of St. Francis, whose cloister is one of the most magnificent sites in the city. Sponza Palace, notable for its portico with columns and elaborate stone carvings. Our tour will continue to the Cathedral, built on the ruins of a twelfth century church then destroyed in 1667 by an earthquake. After the pleasant walk, you will be able to explore the hidden corners of the town of Dubrovnik all by youreself, so try the authentic national dishes in the local taverns or just enjoy a cup of coffe in the nearby caffe's.
